Ministry of Electric Power No.(1)

* A signing ceremony between Hydropower Implementation Department under the Ministry of Electric Power No. (1) and NEWJEC Inc of Japan took place at the ministry here this morning.

* Also present at the ceremony were Minister for Electric Power No. (1) U Zaw Min, Deputy Minister U Myo Myint, departmental heads, official concerned, President and Director Mr Masaki Matsumoto and members of NEWJEC Inc, Chairman of High Tech Concrete Technology Co Ltd and Officials.

* On the occasion, Director -General U Myint Zaw of Hydropower Implementation Department under the ministry and Director and General Manager Mr Yukao Tanaka of NEWJEC Inc signed the contracts on Agreement of Consulting Services for In-House Engineering Services.

* Memorandum of Understanding on tasks of concrete of Upper Yeywa Hydropower Project was signed by HID and High Tech Concrete Technology Co Ltd. Afterwards, Director-General U Myint Zaw and responsible persons of the campanies posed for documentary photo.

* Minister for Electric Power No.1 U Zaw Min received Mr. Gao Song, Vice President of China Guodian Corporation of the People’s Republic of China, and party at the ministry here yesterday.

* The meeting focused on cooperation.

* Also present at the call were departmental heads of the departments and enterprises under the Ministry, General Manager Mr Li Hongyuan of Guodian Yunnan Power Co., Ltd from China, Chairman U Thein Tun of Tun Thwin Mining Co., Ltd and officials.

* Minister for Electric Power No.1 Col Zaw Min received President Mr Lu Qi Zhou of China Power Investment Corporation (CPI) of the People’s Republic of China and party at the meeting hall of the ministry here on 20 December.

* The two sides discussed the matters on cooperation and investment in Maykha- Malikha Basin Hydropower project and Ayeyawady Confluence Hydropower Project.

* Minister for Electric Power No. 1 Col Zaw Min received Executive Vice-Chairman Mr Wang Yongxiang and party of Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower Co Ltd of the People’s Republic of China at the Ministry of Electric Power No. 1, here, on 12 November evening.

* They discussed cooperation in implementation of Shweli-2 hydropower project.

* A ceremony to sign the MoU on Shweli-2 hydropower project jointly implemented by Hydropower Administration Department under the Ministry of Electric Power No. 1, Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower Co Ltd of China and Asia World Co Ltd was held at the hall of the ministry.

* Minister Col Zaw Min delivered an address. The Executive Vice- Chairman and Managing Director U Tun Myint Naing spoke words of thanks.

* The Director-General of Hydropower Administration Department and Executive Vice-President Mr Huang Gguangming signed the MoU and exchanged notes.

• (က) သဘာဝဓာတ္ေငြ႕သုံး လွ်ပ္စစ္ဓာတ္အားေပး စက္ရုံမ်ားအား ကာလတိုအၿဖစ္ ရည္မွန္း ေဆာင္ရြက္လုပ္ကိုင္ရန္ႏွင့္ ေရအားလွ်ပ္စစ္ကို အဓိကစြမ္းအင္ အရင္းအၿမစ္အၿဖစ္မီွခို အားထားေဆာင္ရြက္ သြားရန္။
• (ခ)     စီးပြားေရး ဖြဲ႕ၿဖိဳးတိုးတက္ရန္အတြက္ လွ်ပ္စစ္ဓာတ္အား ပိုမိုရရွိေစရန္ ထုတ္လုပ္ၿဖန္႕ၿဖဴးရန္။
• (ဂ) အနာဂတ္တြင္ လွ်ပ္စစ္ဓာတ္အား လုံေလာက္မႈရွိေစရန္အတြက္ လွ်ပ္စစ္ဓာတ္အား ေလလြင့္မႈမ်ား ေလွ်ာ့ခ်ရန္ႏွင့္ ထိန္းသိမ္းရန္။
• (ဃ) စြမ္းအင္ အရင္းအၿမစ္အသစ္မ်ားႏွင့္ ၿပန္လည္ၿပည့္ၿဖိဳးၿမဲ အရင္းအၿမစ္မ်ားမွတဆင့္ လွ်ပ္စစ္ဓာတ္အား ထုတ္လုပ္မႈ တိုးၿမွင့္သြားရန္။
