- On his inspection tour of Thahtay Dam Project on Thahtay creek, 12-mile north-east of Thandwe in Rakhine State, being implemented by Construction No-6, Minister for Electric Power No-1 U Zaw Min inspected construction of tunnel Nos (1) and (2), earth work of diversion tunnel, steel lining and rock bolt installation works and gave necessary instructions on 6 June.
- After inspecting progress of main embankment and diaphragm wall, the minister heard reports on work progress and follow-up tasks presented by officials and stressed the need for safety measures.
