* Minister for Electric Power (1) Col Zaw Min yesterday morning inspected Nancho Hydropower Project being undertaken by No. (1) Construction, about seven miles upstream the Nancho Creek in Nay Pyi Taw Pyinmana Township.* Director U Thaung Han of No. (1) Construction gave an account of the project, work progress, follow-up programmes, arrival of materials and requirements.
* The minister called for stockpiling of construction materials and hard work for completion of the project ahead of schedule.
* So far, the project has been completed by 24.18 per cent. Upon completion, it will be able to generate about 152 million kilowatt hours a year.
