* Minister for Electric Power No 1 Col Zaw Min yesterday inspected progress of Nancho Hydropower Project to be installed with 40 megawatts generator on Nancho Creek, 16 miles from Nay Pyi Taw Pyinmana.
* The minister viewed drilling of the water tunnel No 1 and the tunnel Portal of the water tunnel No 2, preparations for construction of the power station. Nancho Hydropower Project has completed by 17.03 per cent.
* At Upper Paunglaung Hydropower Project to be installed with 140 megawatts, the minister viewed construction of 968 feet long diversion tunnel and instructed officials to take acre of the tunnel construction task.The minister also inspected sites chosen for construction of RCC embankment, RCC and CVC batching plant, the Crushing Plant No 1 and No 2 and Aggregate Stock Piles, and preparations for construction of the quarry.
